Ruby's color for now - interesting

I took a few pix of Ruby's interesting color pattern today, what pattern do you think she'll end up with? I know she's a snowflake but I've never seen dark spots mixed in with the white like hers. I circled the spots in the pictures because they didn't show up very well.

Wow! That is strange but definitely spots! Gotta get face to chime in.
Do you think she is going to roan out and the spots get darker? I thought
she was solid and did not realize she was snowflake! I think of her every
time I look at my little chestnut filly.. It would be way cool of the dark
spots got much darker.

That's what I'm hoping, that the dark spots keep increasing along with the snowflake (which they have been)! I'm really hoping that she ends up colored similar (but different colors obviously) to DRC Vintage Is Vogue; I think it may be a possibility!

I would guess she's be a varnish roan, many of which start with snowflakes. Many of mine have had black spots sprinkled around. Both these varnish mares had black spots, although I don't have any closeups to really show them. I suspect Ruby will color out much like the first mare, Babe, eventually...

I think Face is right on target. Varnish roan.

She's getting so big! Still a cutie too .

She looks like a shrimp compared to Indy! But actually she's pretty big for her age, and she's going to be very wide like her Mama.

That's because Indy is a freak of nature..lol..

I suspect my Sprite colt is going to be very similar. He is 12.2h and is just now 5 months old.
