This is our first foal, she is a palomino leopard filly out of my mare Redhawks Scappose and by the appaloosa stallion Nootkas Shuffle Drum. This is our second foal of the year by my stallion PJA Ghostwind Spirit and out of my mare Magics Morning Star. Its a filly. This is our 3rd foal of the year by my stallion PJA Ghostwind Spirit and out of my mare WAR Miss Midnight. It's a Colt! And Here is our 4th foal of the year by my stallion PJA Ghostwind Spirit and out of my mare Lilly Lyonheart. It's a filly! Angie P&J Appaloosa Ranch

| Face, every herd needs an ugly duckling......makes the rest of them look all the more beautiful. Ruby holds the same position in my herd along with the title Queen FRB. | |

| lol... My rascal would have to take the prize for the ugliest foal. He looked like a mule! I like your pics face. I don't think Casper is ugly at all! | |

| Thanks everyone, we are very proud of our momma's and papa's this year for producing such beautiful babies. As for them shuffling, I have seen a couple of them do it but it is still to early to say for sure if they do or not. Face, wow Casper is a beauty!!! We bought Redhawks Scappose last may and she was suppose to be open. When she got here we watched for her to come into heat and she never did that we saw. So we put her in with our stallion in June since he would be able to tell us better if she were to come into heat. On June 8th I saw him try to ride her but he didn't get the job done and I never saw him try after that. Well in September I thought she looked to big in the belly for her only being bred in June. Then in Feb she started to bag up and I was like OH NO, I thought she was going to foal way to early. I called the guy that owned her before me and asked him if there was any possible way she was bred before we got her and he said that she had been known to back up to a fence when she was in heat and there was a young stallion that was only seperated from her by a 2 wire fence (it wasn't hot wire) so we had our surprise baby of the year. I have to tell you that she is SO SO SO sweet and loves people. She has been sold. She will just be beautiful when she sheds off (she was born in march so she has a bit of winter coat). | I really miss breeding, especially in the Spring when the foals come. Here is a nice foal born a few weeks ago out of my favorite broodmare that I sold when I stopped breeding... | |

It's a colt... He's very well conformed for a brand new foal - hope it holds up. Freckle, his dam, was incredibly athletic and very light on her feet with blazing speed...it's really a shame she didn't have a home with performance or race people. She came to me with a permanently injured stifle from a trailer accident, and she could still run circles around my other horses. Didn't mean to hijack the thread...
